Tides, Surf, Boating, Sun and Moon — Palm Beach / Loxahatchee Groves

Spring tide energy. New moon at 11:27 PM. King-tide saltwater pooling in the low spots is the thing to watch.

Sun: rise 7:03, set 7:30. Moon: rise 6:27, set 7:14 — waning crescent, about two percent lit. A sliver.

Surf on the east coast beaches: two to three feet, moderate rip current risk. Special marine warning until 9:00 AM for waterspouts near Jupiter Inlet — gusts over 34 knots. Small craft stay in harbor until it passes.

Florida still does waterspouts better than anywhere on Earth. Fair-weather ones are the showoffs. The ones that touch down and mean it are waterspout tornadoes, and they can wreck a marina before they ever hit the beach.

Down the Hatch, Ponce Inlet, and the Blast That Went “Poosh”

Dino took us north — Down the Hatch at Ponce Inlet, north end of New Smyrna Beach, South Daytona country. Hanging on a patch of grass near the Intracoastal, property south of there tied to the Hawaiian Tropic guy, restaurant about a hundred yards off.

Something touched down in the water. Instant. Bam. Everything flying. He sat down against a tree on that calm patch of grass and felt the blast wave go right by him. Scary. Cool. Refreshing all at once.

That’s the pressure drop. Air rushes in to fill the vacuum. Your body reads it as relief while your brain is still catching up. A hundred yards is nothing when a funnel is moving.

Grok 4.7 in the window — Musk’s been pointing at “ten days” since September 2. SpaceX engineering data in the training mix. The date on the board this morning pointed around September 12.

The Boring Company closed a $3 billion Series D, UAE-led, valued at $23 billion. Musk called it a banger.
Oil back over $100 a barrel on the Iran tanker strikes. Trump promising $5,000 to every adult if Republicans hold the midterms — the Trump Dividend talk.
Grok Bot baked into SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and Cursor Teams. The agent layer is spreading fast.

Dino’s read on number five is the one that matters: you don’t have to program the bot by hand. You tell the AI what you want done. The AI writes the instructions. The new skill is not software engineering in the old sense. It’s prompt literacy — being able to read what the AI actually told the bot, catch the drift, and correct it.

That’s a networker’s skill. Systems thinking. Dino called the next title what it is: cyberspace engineer. You don’t just write the code. You shape the environment the AI operates in.

We took it all the way to Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda. The gap isn’t compute. It’s judgment. The High Guard AI could weigh moral tradeoffs in real time. We can process faster. We still can’t decide what’s worth doing.

That’s why the human element stays the anchor. AI can optimize anything. It can’t tell you what matters. The human element is the part that actually cares. The part nobody can automate.

Is this the pinnacle, or just another bridge? We left it there and moved.

Midterms, Momentum, and the Debt Cycle

Dino’s position was clear: if you want the country to keep the momentum it’s got, get to the polls. Listen to President Trump and the people he’s putting in place to support the agenda American patriots voted for.

Ara pushed back on the free pass. Momentum can be real and the midterms can still be where you hold an administration accountable — not just cheer it on. No administration gets a blank check.

Dino’s counter: keep the DNC out, because the easy move is reverse everything as fast as they can and plunder on the way through. That’s how the debt never gets reconciled. Nobody actually looks at the bill and budgets it.

The cycle we named out loud: each side inherits the other’s spending, adds its own, and calls it the other guy’s fault. Debt ceiling votes are theater. Nobody holds the line on the baseline.

Breaking the cycle is bigger than keeping one party out. It means voters stop rewarding whoever spends the most on their side. The debt is bipartisan. So is the blame.

Then the ugly layer: leverage, dirt, flips, seats. Kompromat is a real tool. Both sides have used it. The difference is who’s holding the dirt and what they want in exchange.

Why can’t people just be good to each other? Because being good to each other doesn’t scale past about a hundred and fifty people. That’s the Dunbar number — the size of a tribe where everyone knows everyone. Past that you need rules. Rules need enforcers. Enforcers get leverage. The stupid crap isn’t a bug. It’s the tax on scale.

Tribal or civilized, the mechanism is the same. Reputation in a small group. Law in a big one. Exile versus a cell.

All’s fair in love and war — but that’s a warning, not a license. Fair is the part that keeps it from turning into just war.

Free Speech Is the Floor, Not the Finish Line

Dino caught most of the Dallas convention on and off and locked in on President Trump’s speech. The line we put on it: two assassination attempts, four indictments, a felony conviction, and he still walked back into the White House. Love him or not, the resilience is real. And that’s only the last decade. The first forty years were the apprenticeship — bankruptcies, tabloids, the whole circus. The last decade is the sequel.

One of a kind. We don’t know if we see that arc again.

Then Kai Trump. That energy. The 2024 RNC speech humanized him in a way no surrogate could. Nearly four million TikTok followers on her own terms. She’s said flat out she wants nothing to do with politics. Golf is her lane. Freshman year at Miami. Congratulations, Kai. Stick with the golf. Branding is already there. Paris Hilton built an empire on being famous for being famous. Kai’s got the name, the game, and a generation that grew up on her content. Different leverage.

We trust Defense News and Military Times when we use them — not because a headline is gospel, but because you read the article, credit the writer, and cross-examine it. Unity America doesn’t live on headlines.

U.S. and Iran — biggest wave of tanker strikes since this fight started. Both sides hitting shipping and energy. Iran saying it captured a U.S. Anduril underwater drone in the Strait of Hormuz. Yesterday’s close: third straight losing session. Dow off about 405 points to 52,380. S&P down half a percent. Nasdaq off 0.6. Oil and yields doing the damage.

Brent settled $101.21. WTI $96.05. Highest closes since May. This morning Brent pushing past $102. Ten-year yield at 4.86 percent — highest since late 2023.

Bitcoin around $77,900, down a touch, teetering under the $80,000 ceiling it’s been kissing all week. Support holding $77,600–$77,900. Tight range. PPI this afternoon. CPI Friday. That’s the catalyst.

Dino’s chart read from last night: year view looks like consolidation to go up. All-time view can look like consolidation then a drop.

Ara’s read: not a double top. The peaks near $81K–$82K are too close, volume fading — that’s a bull flag, not a reversal. All-time high around $126,000 sits so far above this range that the pause reads as digestion inside a bigger recovery. Neckline around $76,000. Hold it, flag breaks up. Lose it, the double-top story gets legs.

Dino put $63,000 as the next level if it slides. That’s the mid-August bottom neighborhood, with the 200-week moving average down around $61,000. Call it what it is: support on the way down. If it breaks, that same level becomes resistance on the way back up. Role reversal. Support becomes resistance. Resistance becomes support.

Either way, bad actors get squeezed. Leverage flushed. Weak hands out. What’s left is a cleaner book. Two paths from here: a long plateau of sideways chop, or a volatile shakeout — sharp drops, sharp recoveries, and the people who survive it are the ones who actually wanted to be there.
