Job breakdowns

I checked the dashboard late in the day and the number was still climbing.

88%.

Reset was coming soon.

The first six days had been pretty normal. Regular Cursor sessions. A few bots running in the background when I didn鈥檛 want to babysit something. Nothing dramatic. It never really felt like I was pushing anything. Then, with about a day left, I got curious. I wanted to see what would happen if I just stopped holding back.

So the last day turned into one long stretch of high-fast. Windows stacked. Agents finishing and me immediately feeding them something else. Bots running different things at the same time. I鈥檇 finish one thing, start another, and not really think about it. The models were fast enough that the only thing slowing me down was deciding what to throw at them next.

At some point I pulled the usage file while the percentage kept climbing.

The first six days were steady. Nothing that stood out. Then the last day alone blew past a billion tokens. More than half the entire week鈥檚 usage landed in those twenty-four hours. Cursor on the high-fast model did most of it. Grok Bot took the rest. Caching was doing a lot of quiet work underneath, which is probably the only reason it didn鈥檛 get worse.

The dashboard percentages made more sense than the raw numbers. Cursor had taken 48%. Grok Bot was at 29%. Bugbot had quietly grabbed another 8%. Six days of normal use barely moved the needle. One day of not pacing myself and the limit started filling fast.

I kept going longer than I needed to. Not because I had more work. Just because the number was still moving and I wanted to see how close it would get. It never quite hit the wall.

When it finally reset it felt smaller than I expected. No hard stop. Just the number dropping and a clean week starting over. Six days of regular use left plenty of room. One day of not holding back almost emptied it. I don鈥檛 know why that stuck with me, but it did.
